THE staff

Jessica Monte
Editor-in-Chief, Stylist, and Photographer
Jessica is a well known fine art portrait photographer in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area.  Her work has been featured in national and international publications.  Her client list includes athletes Kirk Cousins, Jordan Reed, and Darryl Tapp as well as Congresswoman Barbara Comstock.  Jessica has also photographed Loudoun County Supervisor Tony Buffington, Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, President and CEO Tony Howard, author Kennedy Quinn, Kathleen Buchanan, Dr. Zach Casagrande as well as many successful CEOs in Washington, D.C. and around the world.  Her corporate clients include Baird Financial, Deltek, Metro Offices, Northern Virginia Orthodontics, and Pet Supplies Plus.   And her work is on display in thousands of homes in the Washington, D.C. metro area.

Feeling the pull to provide a greater range of services to her clientele, she decided to expand on the in-session style sessions she offered prior to her client’s portrait sessions.  She has provided feedback on beauty and style for thousands, including men, women and children, living in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Currently, she is studying personal style at the New York Institute of Art and Design and is enthralled with the adventure that is personal style and fashion in Northern Virginia.

Jessica lives in Ashburn, Virginia with her husband, two children, dog and cat.  When she isn’t doing everything art, style, photography and fashion, she likes to cheer on her children at hockey and ice skating.  She is also currently perfecting a headstand and wonders whether yoga will ever deliver her to a balanced life . . .

Sasha Creswick, Creative Director
Sasha, an Australian native, graduated from La Trobe University with a degree in Fine Art.  She also holds a Cordon Bleu Diploma.  Her family owned a boutique in Australia that stroked her early interest in clothing and style.  Her smile and warmth are contagious as is her passion for fashion.  Sasha knows her way around a makeup counter, can identify the finest of fabrics, cuts, and style.  She is the granddaughter of Claudia Creswick and two time gold medal Olympian in equestrian.  Her grandfather was also a thoroughbred race horse breeder.  On her father’s side, her grandfather was the Chairman of the Victoria Racing Club and Master of The Melbourne Hunt Club.  Both of her grandfathers played polo for the Queen of England.  Sasha grew up in the horse world, bred thoroughbred horses and is now the proud mum of daughters who fox hunt and play polo.

Sasha has lived all over the world, including in Miami, Georgetown, Middleburg, and of course in both Sydney and Melbourne.  Her desire to create was the impetus to the launch of Northern Virginia Style with cofounder Jessica Monte.

Sasha lives with her daughters and pups in Ashburn, Virginia.  She loves all things fashion, art and design.
